It is time for the seventh edition of RetCon, the Nordic Transformers convention!<\/strong><\/p>\n

In April 2026 we are arranging RetCon 2026. Like the last two times, it is held at Elite Hotel Ideon in Lund, in southern Sweden, and as usual there will be celebrity guests, vendors, quizzes, competitions, activities, panels, and much more!<\/p>\n

The convention takes place on 24\u201325 April, and the doors for the main<\/em> event on Saturday 25th open at 10:00. But this time we actually have an event in the evening before as well, on Friday 24th, as we will present a script reading<\/em> with Swedish voice actors! (More about that at the end of this announcement.)<\/p>\n

As usual, we have a number of celebrity guests.<\/p>\n

The first guest of honour is\u00a0Simon Furman<\/a>, the legendary veteran comic book writer who returns to Sweden and RetCon for his third appearance at RetCon and fifth appearance at a Nordic Transformers convention!<\/p>\n

Then we have two Swedish voice actors<\/em>. Last time in 2024 we were able to present the first appearance ever by a Swedish voice actor, when Per Sandborgh<\/a> joined us for a very memorable weekend; he returns once again, this time together with another beloved voice actor, Dick Eriksson<\/a>!<\/p>\n

Finally, we have brought in our first voice actor from the\u00a0original Transformers series:<\/em> Gregg Berger<\/a>, who provided the memorable voices for Grimlock and Skyfire, as well as Long Haul!<\/p>\n

We are very proud to welcome these four guests!<\/p>\n

When Per Sandborgh visited us in 2024, we had our first ever script reading he joined some of Club RetCon’s own aspiring voice actors for a recreation of the very first episode of Transformers, More Than Meets The Eye, part 1<\/em>. This time, both Per and Dick will take part in another script reading! (Note: this is on Friday evening, the night before the main event.)<\/p>\n
